Product Description More than a workout routine, THE TUFFCUFF STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING MANUAL FOR BASEBALL PITCHERS is a 52-week, comprehensive program reveals the pitcher that has always been inside of you.
TUFFCUFF shows you how to develop balanced pitching fitness -- strength, muscle mass, flexibility, power, and endurance -- without overemphasizing or shortchanging any component. It shows you how to recover from workouts and games so you get leaner and stronger when everyone else is just getting tired. And it shows you how to eat the right foods to get the energy you need to dominate the competition.
This is how big league pitchers are now training for more strength and flexibility:
* Training and nutrition plans.
* Daily exercise and equipment lists.
* Daily menu plans and grocery lists.
* Performance checklists.
* Exercise technique demonstrations.
* Throwing routines and bullpen plans.
* And more!
TUFFCUFF is like having your very own pitching coach, personal trainer, nutritionist, strength specialist, and motivator all rolled into one.
With TUFFCUFF's "movement based" approach to pitching training that emphasizes nutrition, recovery, and flexibility, you have a tool to transform your career and experience a new level of success.
The only questions is: Are you tuff enough?

Here's a way to improve in the off-season. January 18, 2007 Victor Roberts (Lincoln, MA) 12 out of 15 found this review helpful
Two words: BROADER SHOULDERS. For those who want to pitch at a professional level or just want to get into better shape for the next season, this guide provides hundreds of photos and descriptions of exercises and stretches to help get you there. After two months of TUFFCUFF workouts three days a week, my 11th grade nephew has added 5 pounds of muscle and is throwing the ball harder and farther. We live in a cold weather area, so he has to skip some of the recommended exercises, such as two-handed throwing of a medicine ball inside a gym. But most exercises can be done with a treadmill, dumbells, and a small indoor workout space.
The guide is probably even more helpful for college level players who have more time to focus on workouts and have access to better equipment and facilities. It also contains a variety of graphs and guidelines for players to chart their progress as well as a recommended diet. This guide proves getting to the next level requires work, not steroids.
Increased my pitching velocity!! September 23, 2009 Devon Neale 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I started Tuff Cuff in June. My fastball speed jumped from 84 mph to 89 mph this summer, and I touched 91 mph on scout day during fall ball. This program is SICK! I can't wait to see if it keeps going up!
Tuff Cuff is excellent February 23, 2010 Thomas Kellough (Waldorf, MD) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
After facing injury before my junior year of high school baseball, I was throwing an 80 mph fastball. After suffering injury and loss of velocity, I invested in this manual. Now, with my senior season right around the corner and only about 4 weeks of Tuff Cuff training under my belt, my fastball is reaching 82 mph and I've recovered my lost velocity. And that's with minimal to no throwing during the week. Inside this manual is unique stretches, gut busting core excercises, delicate scapula and rotator cuff strengthening, and much more. I highly recommend you put the time and effort into this guide.
Excellent Guide September 3, 2009 Andy 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this book for my 14 year old son. It's excellent. It provides him a perfect program as well as proper technique. He takes the book to the gym and follows the daily routine. A trainer at our gym commented that the types of exercises my son performs are perfect for his age. The pictures in the book make sure the exercises he performs are done correctly. The book is not cheap, but extremely thorough and worth the expense in my opinion. Serious youth athletes need proper training and technique, and this book is better than a trainer.
Great Product November 3, 2009 Chad T. King (Walkerton,IN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
TUFFCUFF is one of the best purchases that I have ever made. The concepts that are gone through in the book are well thought out.
