Excellent Catching Instruction April 2, 2010

This is the best catching material I have been able to find to date. It is consistent with other good catching DVDs that I have seen but is more consistent than those DVDs with other excellent non-catching baseball videos and instruction. For example, ~"line up your shoulders with your target before you throw", ~"get momentum toward your target" before you throw, ~"take a jab step" to line yourself up correctly to throw, "anticipate a bad throw" when catching. These are all things I have heard before in other excellent non-catching DVDs, so all of this material fits together like a glove.
Matt Ceriani and Tim Blackwell, in particular, are excellent. But, the input (however little) from the other coaches is very insightful and well worth memorizing too. I cannot wait for more of the Matt Ceriani DVDs, and I hope to see more of Tim Blackwell in them too.
